Online Robotics Inspection of Crude Oil Tank – KOC
AFI Robotics successfully completed the online robotic inspection of a crude oil storage tank with a fiberglass liner for Kuwait Oil Company (KOC). This project marked a major milestone, as inspecting crude oil tanks equipped with fiberglass liners presents a unique technical challenge. Using the TUWAIQ Submersible Robotic System, AFI Robotics delivered safe inspection with zero man-entry, no impact on the fiberglass liner, real-time UT data, and rapid reporting, while reducing shutdown time and minimizing operational risk.
